Your Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Front office team, reporting to the Country Head and play a vital part in our credit risk function, focusing on financial and credit analysis, monitoring, and risk assessment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Credit risk assessments for both potential and current customers and counterparties
  • Preparing the underwriting package and submit to credit committee
  • Providing independent oversight, monitoring, and management of credit risk to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing the impact of credit ratings and risk metrics, performing scoring validity checks, and offering insights for process improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Country Head and Head of Credit Risk to prepare and update credit-related policies and procedures, according to the local market standards.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of prior work experience in financial analysis, credit risk analysis, business analysis, or financial control, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong commitment to attention to detail.
  • Essential proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • A solid understanding of financial analysis, financing ratios, collateral structures, and the loan granting process stages.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Dutch and English.

Highly Desired Skills (Advantageous):

  • Knowledge of EBA guidelines, credit risk assessment rules, grouping of connected clients, and the provisioning of doubtful assets.
  • Familiarity with the legal acts of the EU and the Netherlands regulating financial and credit institutions.

  • Market standard salary: indicative 70.000,- gross annual salary
