We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst (2nd line) to join our Credit Risk team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the bank’s risk management framework and support sound credit decision-making. You will work closely with experienced professionals and play a key role in assessing and monitoring credit risk across a diverse portfolio.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate within a team of 4, including senior colleagues, to ensure smooth credit analysis and risk assessment processes.
- Conduct credit risk assessments of potential and existing business customers and counterparties.
- Ensure high-quality documentation for the credit underwriting process.
- Take holistic responsibility for credit risk management activities.
- Support in preparing, updating credit related policies and procedures and support provisioning/ accrual process;
- Support the development and maintenance of credit-related policies and procedures.
- Assist in provisioning and accrual processes related to credit exposures.
- Contribute to internal and external reporting, including audit support in the credit area.
- Provide analytical input for risk management strategies, policy formulation, and functional risk decisions.
What you need to succeed:
- University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Banking, Econometrics or similar;
- Prior work experience (at least 2 years) in credit risk analysis, business financing or related field, preferably in banking sector;
- Good understanding of financial analysis, financing ratios, collateral structures and other stages of loan granting process.
- Knowledge of EBA guidelines, credit risk assessment rules, grouping of connected clients and client monitoring;
- Knowledge of the legal acts of the EU and the Republic of Lithuania, that are regulating the activities of financial and credit institutions;
- Be able to collect, systematize, analyse data and information;
- Good command of MS Excel and MS Word;
- Proficiency of both English and Lithuanian in writing and speaking.
